I become a father of two at the beginning of 2009. :)
I work as a laser Physicist at European Southern Observatory, Laser System Department, developing a high power narrow linewidth Raman fiber amplifier technology for laser guide star application and providing technical support for guide star laser procurement. Our recent progress proves that the Raman fiber amplifier is actually a promising technology for laser guide star, as well as other applications that require a narrow linewidth laser source at uncommon wavelength.
On this website, I write ocasionally on my works, laser news, general Science news and phenomenon, and web technologies etc. I have a linklog me/dium to serve my desire for information collection and sharing.
Right now, my biggest hobby is playing with new web technologies, thinking of how to make better use of them for researchers. Links to my Chinese web presence can be found on i page.
