funny math

One of my colleagues showed me some funny math. I googled, find them here. Have fun!

This one is actually a good puzzle.

Hey, I got more laughs by

Hey, I got more laughs by reading the blogs about the math than the math itself! Thanks for the ha ha's! :)

Bloody great jokes. Nice

Bloody great jokes. Nice comments, I especially like the discussion on eachother´s intellect. I will add that I do not think it smart to proclaim yourself smart or another dumb.

The answer to the third problem has been given over ten times. Thus making whomever asks for it again not the quickest of cats.

Remember these are mathmatical jokes, they don´t need solving!!! (Although it was quite fun to think about it)

all of this proves that the

all of this proves that the math obsessed people like to find something simple and make it so complicated even they don't understand it any more ...

geez kuki ur so dam smart.

geez kuki ur so dam smart. coz my baby brotha couldnt figure that out!
retard

3) x=5

3) x=5

OMG! there supposed to make

OMG! there supposed to make you laugh, not write comments (and yes, im being redundant)... i find you all shallow and padantic! go get lives!

Take a look at point (10,4)

Take a look at point (10,4) on each triangle, assuming D and A are origins. If you follow the hypotenuse, you can see the lines are not straight.

Yeah man...nice one...but

Yeah man...nice one...but ppl hate maths & thats decreases chances of solving it even if u were capable!!....Ha ha ha.

ya... um, Leonard?????

ya... um, Leonard????? stupid ppl here - plz explain?????? maths is 4 gay ppl only lol not really but oh well who gives a shit. :) have a nice day lifes 2 short
try 2 get on with ppl by using more interesting topics of convo e.g. NOT math

its still funny tho ha ha post sum more

hey, i am contradicting myself. maybe i shld bcome a radio DJ cuz u just chat absolute bollocs 4 about 3 hrs nd then get paid 4 it. gud or wat??? lol im no less confused oh well
im always confused so theres no difference round here.
have fun math ppl ;)
ps i mean no offence im just havin a laff lol
oh, ne1 goin 2 Planet this wknd???
ok, mb im tekin the piss now by usin this as a kinda chat web lol oh well
bak 2 math ppl then....

ha ha i also got on this

ha ha i also got on this site by just typing in "funny" on google cuz i was so bored in my business stud lesson lol i always go on hotmail.
ya i fink they were all quite funny i didn't quite get the first 2 wen i looked at them then i luked more closely.....
six = 6
ha ha ha stupid person lol :)

I agree with all of you and

I agree with all of you and my Slovenian frieds thinks the same. I never thought that math can be fun I always thought that math it's always just problem but i see now the 1st one is realy great... :)

It can be fun!

enjoy your day everybody

Ha ha... i was brought to this page by searching "funny" from google image searched.
This third puzzle is really a tricky one... haha...

The question ask "where did this whole came form", thus it is an area type problem...

there are four different items on the puzzle set 'ABC'. Dark green, red, yellow and green. And add another white item on puzzle set 'DEF'. Each have its different area size.

Triangle Red and Dark Green does not have the same angle but the square angle.Tan(3/8) is not equal to Tan(2/5) for the lower left angles. and thus it also leads that line 'AB' and 'DE' are not straight.

Forget about math a bit. "where did this whole came form?", well if you draw a straight line from point A to B and point D to E. You'll noticed that set ABC will fall below the the straight line and set DEF will go over the line. This question is meant to test if you can see if this is a quadrilateral question.

Professor is right, the

Professor is right, the hypotenuse of each shape is different, meaning that shape on the bottom can have more area. This can be tested easily by enlarging the picture and putting a ruler over the different hypotenuse. After you do this the curveature on each of the hypotenuse will become visible.

As for comparing the angles...it wasn't the right way to go about the problem...since tan(angle1)=5/13, tan(angle2)=13/5 holds for both triangles. So each triangle must have the same angles.

The lower triangle is a

The lower triangle is a female while the upper one is a male. Therefore the difference. Simple!!!!

you guys are dumb in the

you guys are dumb in the first one s i and n aren't individual it's short for sine so you couldn't cancel out just one letter.

The second one was not

The second one was not nearly as funny as the first. Its an intelectual joke you retard deathventure and you are obviously not one.

"deathventure" is a fucking

"deathventure" is a fucking spaz. obviously theres a difference between the 2 L-shapes in the third puzzle, but they still cover the same area in each triangle. and anyway why are you on this site? get out, go to some parties and get laid for fucks sake

o ya i am also gay

o ya i am also gay

i find your funny math very

i find your funny math very funny and hope to get more funny things in future

Ya'll are just looking way

Ya'll are just looking way too deep into the properties of the triangle itself instead of the shapes within. If you look at the orange block, the leg contains 3 squares. If you look at the light green block the leg contains only 2 squares. You overlap the two, you'll get a block gap, 3 - 2 = 1, that's where the hole came from.

Just because you use big

Just because you use big words doesn't mean you're clever... =P

And could the first one be solved properly...since there are 3 unknowns...which makes it kinda difficult...!?!?

to the third

to the third problem...
Neither shapes are true triangles, this is true. Look closely, lines AB & DE are not straight!!
SIMPLE, you don't need to measure in 0.000 degrees unless you're being picky.
Logically I can break it down like a fraction for the un-educated or for those w/o HD vision.
We can safely assume that all other measurements, dimensions, & definitions remain congruent (they're the same) except for the hypotenuse (the longest line) is concave in the first configuration & convex in the second (it's crooked) and its difference in deflection measured in square units=1.

P.S. To all belligerent responses regarding lifestyle or occupation, it is unnecessary, unacceptable, not to mention obtuse, to insult or degrade those of a higher idem quod (I.Q.) level just because you can't achieve the CA exit exam.

If you work it out the

If you work it out the smallest angle for the green triangle is 21.8 degrees, however the smallest angle for the red triangle is 20.556 degrees. this is a difference of around 1.24 degrees. the human eye cannot pick up such small differences very easily, so both the shapes appear to be the same. Blondei when you tried to create repricas of the triangles you must have made a small error when you were cutting out the pieces thus giving you the strange results. George and pedro are correct, the two shapes have more than 3 sides (they have four sides each ie. they are doth quadriterals).

lol, i wish i knew wat u

lol, i wish i knew wat u were all on about! pedro, ur 2 smart 4 ur own gd!!! u all need 2 GET A LIFE!!!!!

I don't understand the

I don't understand the second but the third is great! ;D

Hahaha. Those are great!

Hahaha. Those are great!

wow the second one was

wow the second one was really funny....at first i didnt get it then i did....ha ha ha ha im a blonde too

so cool!!!

so cool!!!

it took me a bit to find the

it took me a bit to find the seond one but then triangles first one funny was.... Is my english ok?

I don't get it!

I don't get it!

hey Pedro and george, i dont

hey Pedro and george, i dont really get the 3rd question yet, can u plz explain it to me a lil more? coz i made a lil triangle and cut it out with paper and mine didn't leave a gap!!!!!!!! wwhhaatt the?? wats really goin on?

p.s i thought the first one had great logic!!! :)

FUNNY Always enjoyed a good

FUNNY

Always enjoyed a good laugh!

jez, despite your obvious

jez, despite your obvious excitement, I don't see how your comment answers Question 3 at all. In fact, all you have done is explain how the blocks have moved. The answer is that the shape ABC appears to be a triangle but is in fact a quadriteral. The guy with the kooky English, Pedro, was correct.

u guys are all stupid,

u guys are all stupid, triangle has 3 sides so look at 3rd problem, the turquoise triangle switches with the red triangle the yellow block moves 1 square down 3 left!!!!!! sin x can not be divided!!!!1

Math is gay but the second

Math is gay

but the second one was funny

Funny!! Some people in my

Funny!! Some people in my school would do that... especially the blondes.... lol!

2 samrt 4 I

2 samrt 4 I

the first one is funny

the first one is funny because sin(x) is broken down as if it were (1/n)[(s)x(i)x(n)x(x)]=? if this were true, then what this student did was actually mathematically correct because the n's would cancel and equal 1. what the teacher probably wanted was to give the actual answer, like (1/n)[(side opposite)/(hypotenuse)]

this math doesn't mean ha ha

this math doesn't mean ha ha funny it means weird funny ya'll r stupid even i know that and i am in 1st grade!?!!!?! peace out dudes!

still have another one?

still have another one?

that is right that mentioned

that is right that mentioned one is not really a triangle because i have measured it on my screen with ruler.........................how is it? i dont know. it is really confusing

HAHAHA!!! i don't c wats so

HAHAHA!!! i don't c wats so funny like there are so much funnier things out there wat was the point of takin up this space on my screen?

You are right. BTW, your

You are right.
BTW, your english is actually very good.

The solution for the third

The solution for the third is that abc isnt a triangle. the red triangle and the other one dont have the same angles
the smaller one has 2 and 5 sides. for the red one to be similar it had to be 3 and 7.5. instead it is 3 and 8.
Just wondering...( my english is not that good...) did anybody understand?

The second one made me laugh!

The second one made me laugh!
